This one-day, in-person workshop is designed to meet you, a school-based SLP in the early years of your career, exactly where you are.
You’ll work with peers and thought leaders to practice using decision-making frameworks, cultivate meaningful relationships, and discuss how to respond to real-world clinical and ethical challenges. The goal? Leave feeling confident in making high-stakes decisions related to:
- navigating IEP systems
- service delivery models,
- scheduling,
- eligibility, and
- when to reduce or dismiss services.
The day will feature highly interactive group learning, grounded in lived experiences in schools, giving you space to problem-solve, reflect, and build confidence. Leave with concrete strategies, tools, and resources to apply right away in the coming school year.
CE Information
You'll be able to earn 0.7 ASHA CEUs (7.0 professional development hours) at the event. Participants must attend the entire daylong event to earn CE credit.

Food and Beverage
All food items will include labels, provided by the caterer, identifying common allergens and dietary considerations (e.g., gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan). If you have specific dietary needs, please indicate them on the registration details form, which ASHA staff will email to you after you register.

Registration Cancellations and Refunds
Your written notice of cancellation will be accepted for a refund of registration fees less a $50 processing fee if received on or before June 1, 2026. To cancel, email coursecancellations@asha.org with the subject line, "2026 ASHA Schools Learning Exchange: Empowered Service Delivery for SLPs cancellation." Cancellations received after June 1, 2026 will be refunded less a $75 processing fee, and no continuing education credits may be earned for the conference. Cancellations will not be accepted after July 11, 2026. Cancellation fees are processing fees and cannot be waived.

Photo Release Policy
Photographs taken at the ASHA Schools Learning Exchange by ASHA staff or hired photographers may be used in future ASHA publications, on the ASHA website, or in other ASHA materials. By registering for the event, you agree to allow ASHA to use your photograph in ASHA-related print or digital publications.
